Last year, Netflix graced the world with an incredible 13 episode television show from the brilliant mind of Tina Fey, and ever since we’ve been jonesing for more. ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ is a show about a girl named Kimmy Schmidt who escapes from an underground bunker after fifteen long years of being told the world was over, but instead of going back home, she stays in New York City to have a brand new start to her life. Along the way in season 1 we meet her flamboyant new roommate Titus Andromadon, her crazy rich boss Jacqueline Voorhes and her stuck up daughter Xanthippe, and even her weird neighbor Cyndee. And now, a year later, we’re finally getting a second season of this quirky, hilarious television show on Netflix, starting on April 15th!

With such an all star cast coming off of a bunch of different awards show nominations, we’re almost definitely in store for another crazy season of quirky moments, drama, and Kimmy trying to find her way in a world that is no longer in the 1990’s. The trailer for season 2 has finally been released, and we can already see that some of our favorite actors like Ellie Kempner (obviously Kimmy Schmidt has to be there), Titus Burgess, Jane Krakowski, and Carol Kane will also be coming back to their fabulous roles on the show. Christmas! Not only is there going to be a Christmas episode of the show this season, but Kimmy Schmidt is basically going to be embodying Buddy the Elf from the movie ‘Elf’ (though she might not even know it, since I doubt she’s ever seen the movie). We know from the trailer, which you can easily find on Youtube or just by googleing it, that Kimmy goes into an all year Christmas store and becomes so excited that she hands her resume to the person behind the cash register. And as we are seeing her in the most darling little elf costume from spoiler pics and from the trailer for season two, so we can only guess that hopefully Kimmy got herself a job at that wonderful place full of as much joy as she has.

Titus Burgess talked with Huffington Live, and according to him we’re going to be learning a whole lot more about his character this season! If you remember from last season, it ended with us being introduced to Titus’ wife, who found him on Youtube, so we’re definitely going to be learning all about what happened there and how Titus even got married to a woman in the first place! We’re also going to have some awesome back stories on Titus’ part, learning more about his past before he moved to New York City, jumped into a knock off Iron Man costume for work, and met Kimmy Schmidt. Oh, and we’re getting another rendition of Pinot Noir, so get ready!
So. Many. Guest. Appearances. With Tina Fey running that show, we just knew that we’d be seeing some amazing stars in the very near future. Thankfully we’ll get to see Tina on the screen today, but apparently she will be playing a different part than she did in the short few scenes she was in at the end of season one. Other big names that we know of so far are Anna Camp from Pitch Perfect, as well as Zosia Mamet from HBO’s Girls.
