It’s here! After months and months of waiting for the series to be released, Netflix has finally released the entire first season of Fuller House! Trust me, as someone who considers herself a huge fan of the original series and basically considers herself a super fan, the new series that has started over twenty years after the original series started back in the 1980’s definitely lives up to all of the expectations that the media and the stars of the show have been painting since the announcement of the show in the first place! If you’re on the fence about watching the series or about watching the whole thing in one weekend, here are some reasons why everyone should sit down this weekend and binge watch the entire 13 episodes of the first season.

The hot men. Holy moly are there some very gorgeous men in this series! Whoever was in charge of casting, I tip my hat to you. Let’s skip over the most obvious gorgeous man Uncle Jesse AKA John Stamos, but there is tons of other eye candy for your enjoyment throughout the series. First you’ve got the gorgeous twins, Nicky and Alex, who grew up to be gorgeous young men since their days on the show. John Brotheren, who plays Matt Harmon and works with DJ at the pet clinic, is definitely a babe that we get to stare at for 8 out of 13 episodes. Kimmy Gibbler’s soon to be ex-husband Fernando is a total Spanish hunk, with some sexy dance moves and an accent to die for. The list seriously goes on and on and on, so at the very least you should be watching it strictly for the drop dead gorgeous men.

Bringing back old characters and hitting you right in the feels with all of the nostalgia. Honestly, I shed a tear of pure happiness the second that Steve showed up in the first episode. The fact that he is absolutely still so in love with DJ after all of these years and desperately wants her to move on from her dead husband and be with him again was so adorable, I couldn’t even handle it. Michael Sun Lee, AKA Harry Takayama, AKA the little boy who fake married Stephanie in her back yard but then went home because his mom made meatloaf for dinner, even makes an appearance which no one was expecting! And then of course you have almost the entire original cast of the first show either being on the show full time or making great appearances throughout the first season, it brought me back to the original series in the 80’s and 90’s immediately.

Though I was definitely nervous that they wouldn’t be able to pull it off, I’m so thrilled to see this amazing cast of actors and actresses back together as a family again. The new additions of characters and the new kids running around the house were cast perfectly in my opinion, especially DJ’s middle son Max who is my absolute new favorite character of the show. I’m almost certain that we will be seeing more seasons of this fantastic show in the years to come.
