Being in the entertainment business can be incredibly stressful. As in every work environment, there are always going to be those situations where you have to work alongside of someone who you just do not get along with at all. But as we all know, the entertainment business is full of people who tend to have a lot of drama surrounding them, which of course transfers over into them causing some drama on the set of their TV and movie episodes on a regular basis. There have been so many rivalries in the entertainment business over the years, but here are some of the biggest rivalries on set – all so bad that they now refuse to work alongside each other!

Shannen Dohrety and Alyssa Milano. After problems on the set of their show “Charmed”, the two basically refused to work along side each other. This wasn’t the first time that Doherty had problems on set, as she had similar ones with other costars on her other show “90210”. In the end Doherty ended up leaving the show far before it ended, while Milano continued the show until its final season.

Bill Murray and Lucy Liu. If you don’t already know, Bill Murray is pretty notorious for not being the nicest guy on set with many of his coworkers and crew members. On set of the “Charlie’s Angels” movie, Liu and Murray got into it big time, and it even disrupted the filming of the movie! Murray apparently called Liu out, telling her that she’s not a good actress and that the casting director did a bad job casting her for the role.

James Franco and Tyrese Gibson. Although they played rivals in their film Annapolis, they had a really big rivalry out of character as well. Their fight scenes that were in the film turned into a reality of beating each other up with the intent to physically harm each other, so it definitely got very personal. Though Franco says he may have gotten carried away with his role, the two still have yet to work together since.

Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen. The show “Two and a Half Men” used to be a staple on the comedy line up for CBS, but when Charlie Sheen went a bit too crazy for the media’s liking, he started seriously fighting with Chuck Lorre, the director of the show. Eventually, Sheen was fired, killed off on the hit show, and Ashton Kutcher became a leading role for the remaining few seasons of the show before it ended a few years ago.

Will Smith and Janet Hubert. Remember when Aunt Viv was replaced on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and everyone completely flipped out? Well there was a perfectly logical and good explanation to that, as the actress who played Viv had a very big feud with Will Smith. While the show was written to be based around Will Smith the main character, Hubert wanted the show to be more about her. This eventually led to her leaving the show in the third season, being replaced by Daphne Reid.

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. These two are definitely two of the biggest names in the music business, but their rivalry was incredibly intense and interesting to watch unfold. Instead of focusing on the talent of the many fantastic singers on the show, there was a time on American Idol where the people at home were more focused on the heat and tension obviously shown between these two women. We saw it all unfold on television on Fox Network, and Carey even referred to Minaj as “Satan”.

William Shatner and George Takei. Though you might not think there was any controversy on the set of a show like Star Trek, these two started their rivalry there back in the 1960s. Whenever they had the chance, they threw insults at each other in interviews, tweets, and even in person.
